How to Make Sweet & Sour Egg Rice Bowl

1. Prepare the ingredients: Chop the spring onion and thinly slice the garlic.

2. Fry the egg: Heat oil in a pan and fry the egg until the edges are golden and crispy. Flip briefly to cook the other side while keeping the yolk slightly runny if preferred.

3. Cook the aromatics: In the same pan, sauté the garlic and spring onions until fragrant and lightly golden.

4. Add the sauce: Return the fried egg to the pan and pour over a generous amount of Sweet & Sour Sauce. Allow the sauce to bubble gently for a few seconds so the egg absorbs the flavour.
